4-axis machining or 4-axis milling is fantastic and cost-efficient when machining complex parts. As 4-axis machining can work as both CNC turning and CNC milling machine. 4-axis CNC service has great advantage on the spiral parts, polyhedral parts, spiral lines and cylindrical cams etc. The 4-axis simultaneous machining service is one of the biggest advantages of Kesu Group. At present, Kesu Group invested in 20 more 4-axis machines, which was 80 in the past. We have considerable experience on the 4-axis machining, especially in the impeller and the embossing roller of face mask machine.

The four-axis CNC machining is the machining which used the fourth axis in the CNC machining center.
A rotation axis is added to the three-axis CNC machining center, which is usually called the fourth axis.
In four-axis CNC machining, the fourth axis is added to the movement of the cutting tool, which allowing rotation around the x-axis. There are now four axes- X, Y, Z and A. The A-axis will rotate around the X-axis. Most of four-axis CNC machine will also allow the workpiece to rotate, which is called B-axis. In this way, the 4-axis CNC machine can used as a milling machine or a lathe machine.

Four-axis CNC machining will the best choice, if you need to drill holes on the side of a part or on the curved surface of a cylinder. It will speed up the machining process greatly and which will also remain high machining accuracy.
At first beginning, the CNC four-axis machining center was used in the processing of curved surfaces, like blades. Nowadays, the CNC four-axis machining center can be applied to the processing of polyhedral parts, spiral lines (eg.cylindrical oil grooves) with rotation angles, spiral grooves, cylindrical cams, cycloids, etc.
The 4-axis CNC machining is widely used in the machining of machinery, molds, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace and many other fields.
